🌸 CHAWAN COLLECTIVE 🌸

Chawan Collective is created by the matcha lovers after recognizing a growing trend in the tea industry, where many others focused primarily on promoting matcha powder. We recognized the unique opportunity in the art of serving matcha. Chawans, the traditional Japanese tea bowls, not only enhance the matcha experience but also celebrate the craftmanship and culture behind tea rituals. Insprired by the matcha community, Chawan Collective was created to emphasize the beauty and significance of chawans, offering a curated selection that caters to both tea enthusiasts and those looking to elevate their matcha experience. Chawan Collective focuses on quality and authentic pieces by bringing more attention to these exquisite bowls that complement the matcha journey 🍵

🌸CHAWAN CARE GUIDE🌸

  • BEFORE USE: pour warm water into the chawan and leave it for roughly 10-15 mins so that the chawan absorbs water. This way it helps to prevent the change in color of the chawan by the matcha stains. DO THIS ON BOTH NEW PIECES / USED PIECES.

  • AFTER USE:  wash by HAND gently, use warm water and a soft cloth to wash the chawan after each use. AVOID using soap & DO NOT USE DISWASHER.

  • DRY: use the microfiber cloth to wipe the excess water to make sure the chawan dry completely and air dry it before put it back to the box or on the shelve.

  • AVOID ABRASIVES/ SCRATCHES : DO NOT use abrasive sponge or brushes to clean the chawan as it would damage the chawan’s glaze.

  • **DO NOT PUT THE CHAWAN IN DISHWASHER, MICROWAVE OR OVEN**
